The house we intend to buy


Family Bojanić

Following the spirit that has been guiding Rotarians all over the world for last 100 years, our club started an action that we feel deserves broader support.

In the village of Bronzani Majdan near Banja Luka lives an honest, diligent and – due to various circumstances – poor family Bojanić. It consists of father, mother and seven underage children. We learned from different sources, and were able to confirm the stories while visiting them, that these indeed are kind, righteous and, above all, hard-working people that wish to stay in the village and continue cultivating land and raising cattle, to support themselves with their own work. However, both father and mother have grown up in an orphanage and due to unfavorable economic circumstances of the past years, they all live in an unsuitable, rundown house that belongs to somebody else.

As the summer nears its end, we feel that something must be done at once. We decided to buy a small village house with a piece of land and donate it to the Bojanićs. There is a lot of such property in this area, but the cost is more than our club can afford. We have already collected some funds and we are urgently working on additional contributions.

With the above in mind, we are free to ask you to help this humanitarian action with a contribution. We are also free to add that we will be happy over any contribution even the one that you may feel is too small.
