The first Rotary Club Banja Luka was established on 28th January 1934. Its establisher and the first chairman was Artur Burda. The Club was active until the end of 1940, when all regular activities stopped with breaking out of the war. The last Rotary Club chairman in that period was Špiro Bocarich.

The Rotary Club members, in that period, were:

7. Makso Gjurkovich, chairman of Bosna - bois
8. Gojko Guteša, director of financial directive
9. Dragutin R. Jelacich, head of State Mortgage House agency
10. Kosta Dr. Kondich, vet. inspector
11. Jakov Dr. Levi, dentist
12. Rajko Malich, solicitor
13. Vladimir Malich, merchant from Bosanska Gradiška
14. Lazar G. Markovicin, head of Department of Agriculture of Regional Administration, winegrower

17. Milan Popovich, milk manufacturing
